Data Safety Monitoring Committee (DSMC)
The DSMC monitors participant safety. It reviews all reportable events, and monitors CAG testing procedures including evaluation and resolution of local and central laboratory CAG genotyping discrepancies.

Committee Functions
- Review of all individual reportable events, reporting positive or concerning trends to sponsor
- Review of discrepancies between local and research laboratory CAG genotyping results and determination of appropriate action
- Communication with sites, when appropriate, and in accordance with ICF/protocol about genotyping discrepancies and participant safety issues
- Continually evaluate participant safety and provide recommendations to continue or terminate the study, or alter study procedures
